Students in Bermuda

The following is a list of courses currently scheduled, however, we frequently have courses in the pipeline which may not be shown on here. Please contact the office for an up to date list of current events.

  • CCTV SIA operator - 19/20 - 23/24 August,Farnham Surrey
  • CCTV SIA operator - 13 - 16 September - Luton, Beds
  • CCTV SIA operator - 4 - 7 October - Andover, Hampshire

These courses are suitable for all students who wish to apply for their Security Industry Authority (SIA) CCTV Operator licence. This is a requirement of Contracted staff operating Public Space Surveillance Equipment. We are designated as training centres for:
Education Development International (EDI))
Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC)

Public Space Surveillance includes looking at members of the public whether they are in a private of public space in a manner which makes them the focus of attention and where you can follow or observe their activities and identify them using the images you take.

PRICES - Value for Money Policy
Our cost for a full four day CCTV operator course includes the exam fee, the certificate fee, portfolio papers and trainers fees. We have always believed that quality is worth paying for, however, we are not expensive by comparison. Similarly, we are not the cheapest, but we caution against going to the cheapest provider. We have discovered that some establishments are using untrained and unskilled tutors and not carrying out proper practical assessments. We have the highest standards of training and some of the most qualified staff delivering it. When you are looking for the best value, it is not always the cheapest company that provides it!

Operator Courses
A CCTV Operator SIA course is £325 plus vat, inclusive of exam, certificate and portfolio. This is good value for what is considered to be one of the more complicated courses required for SIA licensing.

Managers Courses
We have a level 5 Managers course in the pipeline. This will be one of the most comprehensive CCTV managers courses available and we are currently working towards having it accredited as a professional award. This would increase your CPD score. (continual professional development) More details are available from the office.

Our 2 day managers courses are based on the content and amount of training delivered. We provide bespoke managers courses to suit your organisation or department.

We are happy to negotiate with companies requiring more than one and we will discount where possible.
Individuals who are unwaged can sometimes find funding assistance and we will assist where we can in finding supporting funding.
